Weyermann Carahell Malt is a premium pale caramel malt crafted from the finest German barley using a proprietary caramelization process. At 8–12° Lovibond, it produces a light gold to pale amber color, contributing smooth malt sweetness, fine caramel notes, improved foam stability, and enhanced mouthfeel. Its light character makes it one of the most versatile caramel malts available, fitting naturally into a wide spectrum of styles.
Carahell is especially effective in Pale Lagers, Cream Ales, Blonde Ales, and Session IPAs, where subtle malt complexity and body are desired without darkening the beer.
